Over 1.6 million farm animals die on our roads each year

There needs to be a major change in how we treat farm animals. Thanks to outdated transportation regulations, over 1.6 million farm animals die each year from freezing, dehydration, heat exhaustion, trampling and disease.

In the words of Humane Canada, “We can’t keep thinking of animals only as freight or a financial investment. They are living, breathing creatures who deserve to be protected by regulations that are modern, supported by science and meet or exceed international standards.”

Change can start with you and those you know. Visit Humane Canada’s website, sign, and share their campaign petition to help bring an end to such cruelty.
